    I live in Rockmart, so Rome is a great place for me. I have also heard that the "prison farm" is a great place in Atlanta.

    If you're just looking for more bodies I can post this to a couple of the photo groups in the area to check for additional interest.

    I live in Jacksonville, AL (NE Calhoun County), about 1 hour from Rome, GA. I would not mind joining the GTG mwink.gif. I am not sure if I will be free on the 10th, but I will keep you guys updated.

    I have to bow out; my son's high school band is playing with the ASO that night and they (and I, as chaperone and band photographer) will be attending rehearsals all day.

    gagodfather and I are meeting at the Mcdonalds at 6am to try and get some early morning wildlife shots. If anyone wants to join us just come on.

    Otherwise we will be there at 9am to meet everyone else. Not sure how many are coming but I am sure it will be fun.

    I don't know that I'll make it for 6 am. I'll be shooting downtown Atl till 1 am, but I definately plan to be there for the 9 am call.

    there was only me rex and 2 other people who showed up for the gtg, but we had a blast and just wanna say thanks for the ones who showed and we will do it again.

    sorry I missed meeting with you, but I'm not sorry that I got to spend another day with "my kids" (all 110+ of them) here:

    Members of Milton High School's and Alpharetta High School's marching bands rehearse with the Atlanta Symphony Youth Orchestra. Later this evening the three groups played the Tchaikovsky's 1812 Overture with the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra at Alpharetta's Verizon Wireless Amphitheater.

    steven i dont blame you for missing the gtg for the concert thats cool. rex has once again made me see that i have ALOT of work to do to be as good as him. but oh well i will be there one day. we did have a blast and i look forward to shooting again soon.

    Yep, I'm still here too.

    Rex, I wouldn't mind another downtown shoot sometime. The last one I was at was a lot of fun and I got some good shots.

    Hey Folks,
    I'm still here too. I've not done a downtown shoot in well over a year. That would be great. Where should we meet? I try to stay out of Atl unless I have a compelling reason to go there. Don't know too many places there.

    I just noticed this thread. Man, I'm sorry I missed out on the Berry get-together. I'm in Cartersville too. I LOVE to shoot at Berry, although I wouldn't have given up my Mother's Day to do it. :D

    Travelling to Athens is not likely for me, but if you all come up with something closer to home again, that would be fantastic!

    I am all for going to Athens for a shoot. I work every other weekend so I must be off that weekend to do it.

    Greensquared: I am in the same town. You have any weekdays empty becasue I am planning on shooting at Berry early one monring soon to get some deer?
