Barn in Amish country
Probably not a real Amish barn though. By their very nature, the Amish people are a "minimalistic" society and probably would not choose to adorn one of their barns with an object conveying national patriotism. I liked the view just the same.
I knew, of course, that trees and plants had roots, stems, bark, branches and foliage that reached up toward the light. But I was coming to realize that the real magician was light itself.
