but the old plate fits, you just loose some accessibility.

Now I am confused, but I think it works just not 100%.

Does the new plate allow access to the USB holder in normal mounting or only when it is moved over an inch or so?

Hahaha, I am not sure how much you paid for that motorcylce or how much you value your life, but if it was me, I could safely say that the 1Ds III would be the most valuable thing that's ever ridden on my bike :D

Wow—amazing detail and such low noise. You have to see the original size to discern any at all.

I agree. Out of camera is great at that ISO and handheld, but 'fixed' version is really nice.

Oh wow! I am blown away at how rich and full the tonality is at ISO 3200. There is such a feeling of warmth in the wood and the image grain is so nicely filmic.

I do wonder what sort of lighting produced these results?

We are living in wonderful times.

    Thanks for sharing this Andy,

Indoors, Fort Point under the Golden Gate Bridge. It was rather dark, really. There were a few shafts of light, as you can see though. You can see by my exif, kinda how dark it was, 1/6th @ f/4 :)

    According to the chart here:

    http://www.fredparker.com/ultexp1.htm#Light%20Intensity%20Chart

That is an exposure value of around 1.5, which is very low light indeed!
