kdog's burrowing owls didn't have necks and yours do. Is that a different species?

Oh man, I just knew you guys would get the best shots after I left again this year.
Oustanding series, Russ. Those sunset shots are gallery material there, my friend.
I guess I should have stuck around for the sunset.
Ok, here's one I'll bet you don't have.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

I love the "peeking owl"
I knew, of course, that trees and plants had roots, stems, bark, branches and foliage that reached up toward the light. But I was coming to realize that the real magician was light itself.

I really have to thank Dallas for pointing it out to us.
We had lots of fun shooting together
Hopefully the faces will let me off easy for this
BTW, kgog's neckless burrowing owls are very rare, they only appear when he's around :lol4
You're right, I don't have this one:D
Thanks Joel.
I now realize that we should've taken a group shot:cry next time.
Anyway, nice shooting with you man, lets do it again soon.
there will definitely be many more Salton Sea shoots in the future
