:nono Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. You've posted too many good shots to be lucky. And I think you enjoy it too. Which means you might be on the verge of tapping into a new creative outlet.... and yer pocketbook.
You're right, I am enjoying it. I love being able to combine it with one of my passions, which of course is exploring on my bike. I don't think I'll ever really get good with it like some of you though because I'm bored with instruction manuals. I have no idea what all this little camera knows how to do. I'm getting a little bit curious because of all those great shots people here post, I love those close ups of the running water and the awesome detail with those cool lenses some of you have. But no matter where this takes me, I'm really enjoying the journey!
AP, nice color, good subject. Reminds me of a snow capped mountain
range.
That is exactly what the architechs had in mind. The material is translucent and glows at night.
Here is the only other picture I have of the exterior of DIA. The was taken about '93. No clouds but a decent shot.
National Geographic Tornados articles
Great clouds everyone. If you love extreme cloud pics make sure to take a look the the current National Geographic to see what extreme limits of this sport are.
lovely clouds dirt dog.. wish the power lines would vanish but clouds don't park on cue:D
I had the choice of just shooting it or getting in the car, traveling up the mountain about a 1/2 mile and missing the formation. In those last five minutes of sunset, we takes what we can get. My friend in the keys was boasting about his sunsets and I just had to slam him with this one. Powerlines be damned!!

Bhm
Sloss Furnace and downtown Birmingham, AL with beautiful sunset. The proximity of this pig iron mill to downtown was why Birmingham used to be called Smoke City. There was no Photoshop work, the sky actually was that color.

Guanella Pass near Georgetown, CO just before a storm.
Even though the clouds are not distinct, they caused some interesting lighting.

Here is my morning shot of my balcony a few weeks back. We are going into winter & it has the best skys.
We were expecting bad weather but it missed us. The sun shone through a hole in the clouds.
