That's a cool mix of ominous and sunny. Izzat a storm coming up?
Eh... typical Monsoon type clouds that pop up here in Arizona. Sometimes they are really awe inspiring, sometimes just dark and gloomy. Mornings can be nice and clear, then the afternoons we get stuff like above.
I really like the feel of this one and the way your eye is immediately drawn to the reflections of the clouds in the water, interesting perspective, makes for a much more interesting "cloud" shot.

Rare Clouds
I just recently posted this under sunsets in this section but I had to share it again here just because of the reason I took the pic. This was taken at FOB Speicher outside of Tikrit in Iraq. Clouds here are almost notexistant for most of the year. Like you might see a could in the sky once in a whole month. So in the 7 months ive been here this pic was taken due to the rare opportunity it afforded. I lvoe this pic but I would like to know what you all think about the fact that it is slightly out of focus. Mind you it was taken from the back of a moving HMMWV... Hope you all enjoy..
It's very hard for me to put into words the feelings I have towards you and the rest of our men and women in the armed forces. You are giving a portion of your life to protect the freedom we have come to take for granted in this country. Freedom is not a right, it is a gift. Thank you for your service to this country and all it stands for.
Clouds over Paris
Taken 10/28/2004 arriving at Charles de Gaule airport from Warsaw from a Boeing 777. Probably around 10000 feet. The clouds were in layers. On the ground it was a gray day.
We had some strange clouds this weekend in Dallas. Light on top, dark in the middle and some wierd little hump-backed porpoisey clouds down on the horizon.
