@Jørgen_Bjerring Do all of the farm stands use the same sign?
... you are helping enlarge my (nonexistent) Danish vocabulary - now I know the words for potato, eggs, green and asparagus!

As you can see below the answer is yes. It's a kind of epidemic .
To be frank: 3 signs from the same farm in different locations.
Hi Pieter, I don't know of "fan" is the right word in this case, but I nearly always stop and often photograph these war memorials that one finds all over Europe. I find them very poingant.
Thanks Sara, I do too, especially in the smaller villages, like this one.
Here's another type of sign that I can't pass by without taking a photograph.
More signs (on the ferry) but also a World War II monument - "Our Fallen" - a soldier in English uniform at the right with reflection into the water. The monument stands in the Churchill Park outside Kastellet (the former fortress of Copenhagen)

Weather signs are fairy common I think. I have seen weather stones in the Upper Peninsula when riding across it years ago.
I found this weather sign locally in Indiana
