    I agree!
with Schmoo's remark..." A great execution of HDR, which is often overdone to look unreal. This just looks amazing."

Zooming in on the larger version really shows the clarity thoughout the image. I'd love to see more HDR worked like this. That light kissing the top of the mountains is swwweet!

Had another go at editing this shot, it's in HDR so I know the colours are not natural :D

For a much larger version click on image ... enjoy .... Skippy :D

This is brilliant!!! The colors aren't unnatural, skippy. You have dual white balances, which is something I do in my extreme shots but you happen to have made it very natural here. The colors are natural indeed, just the white balances are compressed. It's absolutely brilliant.

Hey Skippy I just had to post again because every time I look at this image I see something new! lol3.gif

This time it was the mist rising from the lake. Holy cow does it really add a magical effect there, and does a really great job of breaking up the real mountain from the reflection. Whew! thumb.gif

It was an awesome view, Nik has a big picture from this area on his wall.
    Thanks Stef :D ... Skippy :D

Skippy - this is a great shot! bowdown.gif

The light and colors are amazing, the still calm water with the perfect reflection and the mist on the shoreline, all of the elements are there and well executed. I'm a sucker for mountain reflections.

I don't think this is overdone at all, it looks just right (granted, I'm a guy who pushes the saturation slider a little too far to the right, but what can i say, I like color!).

I'm glad you were able to overcome the language barrier during your stay in Canada :D

HDR is a useful tool when used correctly.

(rhetorical question) ... I wonder how long it will be before the dynamic range of digital cameras makes HDR post-processing unecessary...

    Niiiiiice! thumb.gif

It looks just the way I remember it. Which, come to think of it, I wasn't there. But that's how good your HDR job is, because I think I remember being there.

And I see the rocks on the bottom of the water on the bottom right. That's kinda cool - it adds to the depth of the scene.
