    These look great. The circle technique was one I discovered independently by fooling around in the editing program (whatever it was back then, four or five years ago) - but I used it on a picture of peaches. Now I think I will have to relearn it to use on some of my own fireworks shots. Thanks for the idea.

    I make a selection around the circle, then reverse the selection, and change the background to black.
