haha...but i dont have a whip!
tripod is good, takes time to adjust, but i just cant justify a ballhead yet...
the legs clamps have needed adjustment once or twice to hold tighter. other than that good tripod, hes my friend....my heavy little friend
p.s. dress up for a shot is a good idea...i hope no one uses that idea! if they do and win they will be labled with it:D (i cant complain with the indiana crack, funny thing is when we found out that indi was the dogs name )
Wow! Love this one, not only am I sucker for a great B&W shot, but the suit and whole look made me feel as if I had just stepped out of Mr. Peabody's Wayback Machine to a period I've always found really fascinating.
Nicely done.

It's my favorite suit, it makes me think I'm in the 1930s of the movies. Now if I just had an airsoft Tommy gun - fahgetaboutit! rofl
My earlier photo did not adhere to the 'The photo must clearly show your face and also the camera that you used to take the photo' part of the rules.
Taken with a Nikon D50 and Tokina 12-24 mm lens, using a mirror placed inside the baby Gymini.
Love it Sunita! What a clever perspective! Hope you and your child are doing well! Was this taken into a mirror or was there a second camera? Cool shot.

Thanks, Paul! Glad you like it (am quite honored, actually). Just got my Tokina 12-24 mm lens in the mail yesterday and used that for the shot. Absolutely love the lens!
Aaron, thanks for the PM. I can be a little slow and I didn't realize that you were referring to this shot with your comment .

Paul your added entry this is simply wonderful, pls share some wizardly secrets with us that just dont know how to produce something like this.(ok me)
how did you get the exposure for the bg in the globe but not past the globe? selective tool around it all and layer on black BG? or is it simply using a black backdrop?

No need for a tommy gun when you have a Canon!

I'll be doing a lot of :lurk, only with real popcorn and some water for when I laugh so hard I choke.
I'll HOPEFULLY have something to put in here tonight. I wouldn't :lurk or hold my breath though.

It's not about the taking part, it's not about the winning, it's about completely trouncing the opposition, isn't it?
