Lynne just announced the new challenge, you can find the gallery here:

http://dgrinextras.smugmug.com/Wedding-Challenges/Wedding-Challenge-102010/14072317_K6GjE

or go to: www.smugmug.com

login: DgrinExtras
password: knockknock

Then go to: Wedding Challenge • 10/2010 • Full Length Bridal Portraits

From there you should be able to upload a pic, but let me know if you have any questions (see top right corner / UPLOAD > TO THIS GALLERY)

When you upload a photo, please name it with YOUR NAME, or your nickname (I need to be able to contact you, if you win, so don't make it too hard, haha). Please do NOT upload full res files as I can't take any responsibilities for it and don't want the photo to end up in the wrong hands. Feel free to put your name on the photo.

Once we announce the winner, I'll download your photo and it will receive a 1st / 2nd / 3rd place badge :D

The CUT-OFF date is the last day of this month. The winner will be announced on the first day of the following month, and we'll ... hopefully I'll have a new challenge up & running by the 2nd or 3rd day :thumb

Let me know if you have any questions.

:lust

Oh, and Lynne lets us submit 2 entries per person, so let's see them :lynnma

It appears that your perception of yourself is...well...incorrect. You actually appear to be a leader. Laughing.gif...I think everyone is waiting and watching...to see what other will post.
Remember, no one may want you to take pictures, but they all want to see them.

C'mon, sissy! A full length bridal portrait is how you separate the men from the boys. :-P

I guess I better submit now after saying that, Laughing.gif...

That's what DropBox is for! All the ~20 "selects" from recent jobs that go through Lightroom, Bridge, or Photoshop gets exported / action'ed into a dropbox folder that I can access from any computer, even my phone.

To demonstrate, I will now attempt to submit my entry via my Android! :-D

Still a little busy with work, but yes a beautiful bride (I would never enter a model in a contest) ...and good light should be in the near future!!

Done! I totally just uploaded my entries via my android phone. I save my blog images to a dropbox folder, use the dropbox app on my phone to load the images onto my phone and then download them to the phone's storage, then upload them using the browser, no problem. I used the "old faithful" uploader... Sweet!

OK, well I decided to play again after my surprise of a 3rd last month. Bridals are not something that are really shot in Egypt as everyone goes to the studio prior to the wedding, however I've had 2 that had a quick outdoor session first so here they are.

I'm here to learn so please feel free to give me constructive criticism to help me become the photographer I desire to be.
