    Thanks the treatment for 1-3 David, they diminish the impact (most welcome here)

    Interesting, really hard not to be judgmental of the subjects actions

    For 1-3, I've intentionally used a slightly longer exposure, zoom and click to show movement and with the hope of adding some drama instead of a static shot. Inevitably, it also diminish the vicious act.

    This looks similar to the American Indian Sun Dance. The Oglala Lakota Sioux were some who practiced something like this.

    Some terrific images here. However, next time you post a story-like series of his sort I'd strongly suggest one or more general shots that set the scene, that provide better context for the individual shots.
