This could be eligible for the most unusual of the posts to the thread award (if there was one). Very interesting treatment.

    Gary,
Sorry it took me so long to find your post, I'm not real practiced with these forums thingies. I wish they would create such a contest. Unfortunately, a lot of times when I see listings for contests, they require newly shot photos.

    Take Care,
    Trish

She does have lovely eyes. I think that the shot is a little off in hue, could be the WB is off due to the lighting.

My daughter's eyes would have to be my favorite... she's always in right in front of the camera... this shot I had it zoomed out as far as I could!

Hard to believe you are the same guy who was struggling so much not that long ago. Wonderful shot....great eyes. Did you sharpen the eyes only?

This one is soft (actually a bit of camera movement) but i still like it:

    Simply Beautiful!

I want to take this moment to again thank all who have contributed here. I was, as the thread title indicates, inspired by Yuri's wonderful portrait work. You have all made many wonderful and diverse contributions. It is incredible that over 4000 views have been registered to date. I don't think I'll ever come up with another thread that will have so much participation - this is really a thrill.

    Thanks & Regards,

    Gary
