    Love all the shots, The Washington monument is really cool. Here I took a shot early with a 70-200 zoom set at about 145 to get the trees and the stars and then layered on two different exposures of the moon w/a 400mm, one exposure for the red part and one for the white part. A giant experimentne_nau.gif

    Some of these are simply awsome. The best I could do was get a high resulution shot in sports mode and then play with it on the puter to get this.

    I was lucky to have a break in the cloud cover long enough to grab this short series. Once the total eclipse took place, the cloud cover returned and put an end to my picture taking.
