FS: 82mm Hoya Super-HMC Pro1 Slim Circular Polarizer
No defects in glass, print, rim, or threads. Rotates smoothly. 5mm thin so it won't vignette even on ultrawide lenses, but still has front threads for attaching a filter or lens cap. I've decided that I personally prefer a warming polarizer, so I'm offering this one for sale at a price that I'd consider a really good buy… -

Re: new 5D and streetphotography
time waits for no one Hello Awais ! Nice to hear from you again. Last night my mother in law died. She was 82 years old. This afternoon I met this woman on the street. She was holding an alarmclock. She told me that due to her poor eyesight, she wasn't able anymore to see what time it was from looking at a wristwatch. The… -
Re: As she is gritting through her teeth, Shoot already !
In other words he was lying about the "Gare", eh BD? How about "Cardinal Pacelli?" Was he lying about that one too? I'm 82, BD, and I can give you chapter and version about the circumstances surrounding any of the photographs I made in Korea in 1953. That's almost sixty years ago -- a decade more than a half-century. In… -
Re: CPL before or after other filters ?
As far as avoiding vignetting on the sigma 10-22, I don't know what thread size your current system is for, but one idea might be a step up ring, that would let you mount a larger diameter filter, if I'm not mistaken 77-82 or bigger. Upside, more room to work with all that junk :D hanging of the front of the lens before… -
Re: The Car Talk Thread
This is my ride. Doesn't look as good in real now due to battle injuries(In India every drive is a battle). Gives 50mpg city when in good mood, 40-45mpg when not. Highway does around 60mpg Top speed : 132kmph(GPS tagged), which I guess is around 82 miles/hour. Sips Diesel(The truck fuel, cheaper than gasoline, or petrol as… -
Re: Mystery Car
Jack, Beautiful car & captures My dad (who just turned 82 this week) worked in that plant when he was a young man. His job was to drive the cars as they came out of the end of the assembly line to the parking lot. He told me that they went out of business because they were too far ahead of their time. Also said that the… -
Re: *ENTRY* Thread DSS #27: Singular or Plural (Exclusive Black and White Challenge)
Indeed! I think the numbers have been a little lower than usual lately, but it would seem things are picking up again :D A quick look into the entry galleries/threads and previous discussions gave me: round 8 (weathered or polished): 91 entries round 14 (still life)(SOOC): 88 entries round 9 (dusk or dawn)(SOOC): 83… -
Re: Goalie with some post processing
Hello from a UND grad class of 82'. I like the processing but would tone down the whites just a bit. The Sioux colors are white and green so I am not bothered by the green overall tint! You have the perfect start to a poster here. I would definitely use the space you have to add graphics! Cropping the dead space leaves you… -
Re: DSS #24 - Am I close
My Dad is 82, and yes, they make good subjects. I used his hands for one photo I did for a show and everyone kept commenting on the hands. They were perfect for the subject. My Dad is ok with it, and my brother... my Mom, don't let her see the camera or she will give you heck if it is pointed her way. Good luck, I am still…
