EF-S 10-22mm - Why so expensive???
What's so great about this lens? http://consumer.usa.canon.com/ir/controller?act=ModelDetailAct&fcategoryid=148&modelid=10510 Granted it's very wide, but it's not fast (aperture), or even fixed for that matter. F3.5-5.6 is the same as the el cheapo 18-55mm. Construction looks the same too, as in, not as sturdy as L glass.… -

Re: D700 WB for fluorescent lighting
Set a "custom white balance" and use that. Re: Umass Hockey vs BC
Comment from me: I know you get frustrated when no one comments, I think I know why. Your galleries are HUGE! There's a lot to see there. Try picking one or two that you think are representative of your work that day, or show "errors" that you want to correct. Then let us rip those few apart :D Asking for comments on a… -

Re: This sub-forum has corrupted me...
Well.. since you are only 22 and still "wet behind the ears" I'll impart what little knowledge I have gathered in *a half century* I've been around as it pertains to cameras. Plus- as a Marine, you probably have to be told the same thing at least 3x so it sinks into the dog-skull. The Canon 7D is 148 x 111 x 74 mm (5.8 x… -
Re: 5D MK2 Training.
You are correct and i will do as you all have said. it might be the hard road but definatly benificial in the long run. I have a 2 day shoot ahead of me this weekend, so with 90 miles of irish countryside in front of 148 vintage and classic cars this learning curve is going to be steep. I am getting fed up of shooting in… -
The Duncan family
We met at Deming Park in Terre Haute, Indiana. The rain thankfully held off, but it was SO humid. The kids did really well though. By the time we finished, though, they were ready to be done. All of their children are so photogenic. There are six children and the baby is actually featured in my banner on my blog and…
