Ziggy, I read the review of the Sigma 70-300 at photozone.de and I think the lens was fairly good to 200mm, but at 300mm it fares rather poorly with significant chromatic aberration. All these zooms tend to be poorest at the long end for some reason. Even the Canon 100-400 L is better short to midrange that at 400mm… -
