Help w/ Group Lighting problems?
(this is in follow-up to earlier thread http://www.dgrin.com/showthread.php?t=38411) I'm preparing for a famliy group photo. I just picked up two studio strobes to help light this outdoor portrait evenly ... plus 10' stands and 40" umbrellas. The umbrellas are the convertible "shoot-through" or "bounce" type; I've started… -
Eating from Maryland to Hawaii and Back
At 80 years old and using a mobility scooter, I'm no longer able to take the marvelous exciting adventures that I see here in the Journey's section. But I do like to write about and take photos of my travels. My latest trip was a Group Cruise from San Pedro to Hawaii. So I decided that my goal would be to go on the cruise… -
SOLD: Sony F828
EDIT: Camera has been sold. Accessories will be moved to a new thread asap. Having spent a couple of months with 20D I understood that I'm not going back to P&S.. Hence I decided to part with my beloved 828 aka The Dark Angel. That's the only reason - I don't want it to gather dust on the shelf, while I'm in a desperate… -
Knik Riverbed, Glacier, and Scenery (15 img)
Tracy and I headed out Monday for a little nibble of outdoor adventure, planning to walk up the Knik River and see how close we could get to the Knik Glacier without much difficulty. We took off to the end of the road early in the morning, and as the sun rose over the mountains we drove by a couple Canadian Geese paddling… -

You would have to mark all galleries that you don't want the public to be able to browse to as unlisted (change one option in the customize gallery screen for each unlisted gallery). Unlisted galleries can still be accessed by anyone that you give a… -

Re: >>> LPS#11 Feedback Thread
70 - Travis - Focused I like it, try going tighter still in that pano crop, it will focus more attention on the rider. Cut into the guy with the red hat, he does have good interaction with the rider, but overall the extra space devoted to that isn't worth it in my view. 71 - JFreeman - Give Me A Lever Long Enough Super… -
Wild West Tour 2019, Part 1
Ok folks, here it goes... Two weeks ago today we got back from our month-long trip to the American Southwest (plus California). I'm a native Californian and although I haven't lived there since 1977 I've visited many times and have family and friends scattered all over. My partner is German and had never visited the west… -
