119 options...
Tempted as I am to "wait and see", I'm trying to avoid the obvious fireworks options a lot of us will have over the next few days. I took these last night on a walkabout in St Augustine Fl. The city was very beautifully lit up (as usual) for the holidays. I'm torn between these.. Any critique or comments (or even thoughts… -

I'm planning on getting the Windows 7 Family Pack. It is a 3 license deal for Win 7 Home Premium (not Pro or Ultimate) that allows you to install Win 7 on 3 PCs within the same physical household. The Family Pack is only $149 (vs. $119 for an upgrade copy of Win 7 Home Premium). I'll be stopping by Costco or BestBuy… -

Re: SOLD: 256MB "60x" Secure Digital (SD) card -- new
CF cards available? Maybe a 2GB "50x" card I just sold out of CF cards yesterday -- not sure when I'll have more. However, one I do know I could get hold of this weekend is a 2GB "50x" Kingston ElitePro card @ $119 ea (shipping included), if that was of interest. (it's the same as the card listed in… -
Re: Star*Explorer Thread
Good luck. The one reason why I like this is I can get the thumbs from a gallery and use them for a slideshow. See my bio box on my home page. Works relly nice. http://atsmith.smugmug.com/ I had to drag each thumb to an Exployer folder and it took time to get 119 in this case and then upload to a gallery. D/Ling the thumbs… -
Re: SD Cards
I have a D200 (10MP) and can get the following on a 2G stick:RAW - 119 RAW + JPG L/F - 77 JPG L/F - 223 JPG L/N - 444 L = Large F = Fine N = Normal But I almost always shoot RAW... or if it's for personal use, JPG L/F. I've never seen any reason to shoot smaller than the highest res the cam will perform at. HTH... -

Re: HDR results- Photomatix vs Essential HDR

Continuing the argument...no problem...:D...did I mention the halos in Photomatix and that I have that product as well??? £82 - that's about $119 and…
