Re: Finally jumping SLR to DSLR, Canon/Nikon or Olympus?
I've read the posts below. Lots of good advice there. In the end the choice will be yours alone. Become a knowledgeable shopper (sounds like you've done that). I'm about where you are, though I think you're somewhat ahead of me. Lot of info there. As has been already mentioned, the sizes of 4/3 and APS-C are quite similar.… -
Re: Do Videos Count in the GB Uploaded Stats?
Cool, my confusion was helped when I checked the details link, it doesn't have a running total and I was just pretty sure that it 'stuck' at 85.01 before and after I uploaded 4 vids around ~50mn-70mb each. It's totally trivial, just had me curious and was one of those "wait a minute I think it said the same thing… -
Re: Some links regarding the Conversion of Color to B&W
The links at the top of the page were compiled in 2008 when we did not have all the tools that we have now. Channel blending is just one of them, in addition to conversion to black and white via Image -> Adjustments -> Black and… -

Mt. St. Helens Climb (15 pics)
7/25/2006 9:26:53 PM Climbing crew of seven arrived at the Mt. St. Helens climbers bivouac from Bremerton Washington at about 8:30 pm, a four hour drive (including a stop for a fast dinner). Setup tents right away. Stars were bright along with a few shooting stars. What a difference it makes to get away from city lights!… -
Re: Can you try some new uploaders?
Hey - thanks for asking us to play! all three uploaders took quite a bit longer than I expected to upload the photos. All of the photos that I was playing with were about 2.4 megabytes in size. I didn't track the time with applet=7, but I did with 8 & 9, numbers included below. In all cases, I was only uploading 3 photos.…
