Re: Some curvy possibilities (3)
The easiest way that I use is to right click on the photo and select "properties" in SM. Double click and copy the URL you see there - it'll have a .JPG extension (most likely). Then come back over here and create a new post - click on the yellow botton in the tool bar with the mountain and sun - and paste the URL there.… -
Re: conformance with EU cookie laws
This is the actual style:
#messageHeader { background-color: #112025; border: 1px solid rgba(43, 117, 209, 0.3); border-radius: 6px 6px 6px 6px; color: #D6D8DA; font-size: 13px; margin: 10px 20px; min-height: 24px; padding: 4px 6px; }
As you can see, a solid background color, with a transparent border that is… -

Re: Site Speed???
I've been trying to do some work on my site over the last week or so, and it seems to be running a LOT slower than it normally does. www.mekphotography.com, PC-XP, home, Wireless-N with gigabit routers, Comcast cable ISP. Wireless connection speed is between 117-130 MBPS, internet speeds are as tested:… -
Re: Huon River
Hi, I did do a B&W version which I was quite happy with - but obviously I lost the colour of the wood on the boats which to me was part of the 'story'. These boats were anchored just offshore from a small boat yard that makes these types of boats by hand using Huon / Celery Top / King Billy pine and Myrtle (all local… -
Re: Death Valley Days (and nights)
Awesome Story and Photos. Really makes me want to go back. We visited Death Valley last spring but raced through on our way to go explore some mines with some people we were meeting up with planning on coming back to hit all the areas you mentioned. While spending the weekend exploring the mines, our fridge went out in the… -

I found 2 HI My last post was saying I did not have any picture. However, i found 1 in my iPhone and added 1 last weekend, also with my iPhone. They are far from being winning shots but I hope they will make you smile. They are about the mishaps of technology... 1. That is a very believable temperature for Karlsruhe...… -
Re: Canon 400 F2.8 vs 600 F4
If I were looking into some spending some pretty serious loot for birding I'd go with a 1D4/500mm/TC combo. Just Google Romy Ocon(goes by liquidstone on some forums), the guys got crazy skill when it comes to photographing anything at distance(especially birds[ranked 117 out of the top 1000 by fat birder]). He stacks TCs… -
