Hi folks. I'm new here and enjoying the forum. These shots were taken with an older camera I have since replaced with a better one. Thank you to everyone for the amazing entries in this challenge. Photos like these are why panoramic shots are my favorite type of photography. :thumb On to the results! Re: sharp eyes, help
Set it as low as you can while still getting a fast enough shutter speed that camera shake will not be a problem. You really ought to use a monopod with a 70-200 for portrait work. Re: NHL Hockey at HP Pavillion in San Jose, CA
Welcome to dgrin! Thanks for stopping by! I was shooting over the glass for #2, #3,& #6, but that's because I was sitting in seats above the glass level. The black dots mark my most common seats -- very top row of in the upper bowl of 211 and near the top of section 126 in the lower level. #2 and #3 were shot from the… -

Re: Play ball
OK, you asked for it...:D I like what you are trying to do here, Don. I don't know that I'm wild about the PP treatment, but I understand that's a matter of taste. The one thing that bothers me is the background. I know you can't always pick what is behind your subjects, but you might want to minimize distractions - the… -
