Re: Andy/Baldy - feed me
No problem Ann. I have no doubt you know more about it than most and certainly way more than I do. Just wanted to answer the question you brought up. I agree with you proof is better than theory. From what the book says it sounds like it's still theory instead of a proven fact but he does make reference to many papers on… -
FS: Various Items
End of year closet cleaning and have made a list of items I would like to sell. All of the items are in very good condition and bought and owned by me. When I buy something I generally put the box and paperwork in the attic along with cables, etc. I should have "most" of the original content for each item I am selling, but… -

Re: My Idea For A Round GND Filter - What Do You Think?
Hey! I use Cokin, but mostly because I didnt want to spend a fortune for these rarely used filters. If you want the drop in filters, then that is either Cokin, Lee or Singh Ray. Lee and Singh Ray are much more expensive and offer glass options. Cokin's are 'organic glass' which basically means plastic. They are very… -
Re: Assignment #4: Stone
I'm confused, Which Stone? I googled 'stone' and top listing is "1 stone = 6.35029318 kilograms" So should I shoot something that is 14 pounds? Does that include something that cost 14 pounds? It was frustrating to take pictures and have my customers tell me they couldn't see the pictures. I thought it had something to do with DSL vs Cable… -
Tepusquet Canyon
As I am out of school for the summer, I've been able to catch up on my riding lately. Wednesday, braving our first 100 degree day, I decided to make a 350 mile loop to the coast on what is rapidly becoming one of my favorite routes. As we left, the temperature gauge on my GS read 77. It soon rose to 85. . . . About 70… -

Re: Balkan Express
The Rhine The Rhine and its adjoining areas are dotted with wonderful elements of European history; from the violence and insecurity of its distant feudal past to its more refined elegance which peaked in the late 19th century, but vrutally dissapeared early in the 20th. Mannheim First mentioned in 766 AD, My fair city,… -
Re: Comments please
The following are comments and first thoughts as I went through the gallery. I didn't comment on every photo - just the ones that struck me one way or another. The comments may come across as more than just a little harsh - sorry. I wanted to give as much feedback as I could without taking a day to word-smith the C&C. So,…
