Yep. You pay to play. Factor another $199 into the price of that new camera you get every 3 years, to pay for the Photoshop upgrade to read the files. That is, unless you LIKE the built-in software :-) LR is currently "current" so it will decode the RAW files. As will Aperture (well, save the 40D right now). -

Oh, I am being nice...no attitude going on here. ha! naming it after a cat..that's it's code name, like Longhorn was for Vista. And no, it's not a service pack. And at least it's not $199 and up to $399! And now with their restriction on running it in VM, where you have to buy either one of the top 2 most expensive… -

I'm thinking of buying some lights and I've come across a pair of these for £199. I know nothing about studio lights, what to look for and what the pitfalls are. All my off-camera lighting has come from speedlights. I'd like to use these for a home/portable studio. Has anybody had any experience with these? I've tried… -

If you are considering upgrading to CS5, you should also consider upgrading to Lightroom 3 at the same time. Through Adobe, the upgrades were $199 for CS5 and $99 for lR3. I was pleasantly surprised to find that when I got to checkout, the final price for both was $268. Not a monster amount of savings but every little bit… -
