FS: Dynatran CF92 Carbon Fiber Tripod and Large Ballhead (US)
I have a brand-new CF-92 Carbon Fiber Tripod for sale, along with a brand-new large ballhead. Comes with its padded case, and all the new wrapped items in the front pocket. I compared to my Weifeng/Fancier, and prefer the weight and height of the Weifeng. If I didn't have one to begin with though, this tripod would be… -
Re: Why is smugmug so slow tonight???
I was able to browse the gallery once - after we had been out for several hours earlier today. Most of my other galleries are fine - just a couple in the Family category it seems at the moment are the trouble makers. My motorsports site seems ok, too. Tracert as follows: Microsoft Windows XP [Version 5.1.2600] (C)… -
Re: Smugmug a Rip Off?
It has been a week now and still no answer. Again, Smugmug charges their pros significantly more than bayphoto.com. Why? Examples (metallic, no color correction) 4x6 SM: 0.66 bay: 0.29 (+127%) 5x7 SM: 1.43 bay: 1.32 (+8%) 8x10 SM: 3.38 bay: 2.06 (+64%) 11x14 SM: 8.79 bay: 4.59 (+92%) I've always been a fan of Smugmug but I… -
Re: NHRA action from etown!
I have around 200 passes at Etown in my 92 mustang. After witnessing last years wreck... this one was pretty hard to watch. Seemed like everything was happening again. Its very disturbing for someone who races...especially after someone passed away last year. John had just made a pass and was on his scooter trying to get… -

Re: Kite Surfers
You get what you can get and work with it. I don't agree with the body of thought that blur is always required to show motion. If someone is hanging in the air the viewers brain calculates there is an event going to happen as a result of gravity. If that body has drops of water spewing from it,the viewers brain calculates… -
What should smugmug award the big referrers?
First, a confession: onethumb and I made a pact that if we ever got to 92 subscribers/day profitably, and with good customer satisfaction, we'd dye our hair green. Well... I suppose this constitutes a good photo op for Andy, because I just bought a jar of ELECTRIC LIZARD GREEN MANIC PANIC CREAM HAIR DYE PUNK. It glows… -
Re: how to send someone hundreds of RAW images
There's really only one person who can give an authoritative answer on this -- is it hard to contact them? Anyway, tell us the aggregate size of the images and we can tell you exactly how many CDs or DVDs it will take to hold that much data. Me? I'd probably weed through them rejecting the non-keepers. I'd spend no more… -
Re: Extremely unhappy customers... AND
Well, you don't have links on any more so I have to let you know what I think based on the filenumbers. These I think are winners, very well done and I would think they would be happy with these, assuming they knew what they were buying when they paid the sitting fee: 2, 3, 11, 37, 74, 83, 92. But, like was mentioned…
