Re: Lost meta data in LR3?
Exifutils ( www.hugsan.com/EXIFutils ) shows, and edits if you want to, all the exif in an image, including raw images. Not free but well worth. It also is a pretty good reference to what is available in exif info. Here is an example of the kind of stuff it pulls from a Canon raw file. Not everything is decoded but with a… -
Something about nikon that could affect your Business, and your camera.

"" There's a firestorm running through the community of independent camera repair technicians after Nikon Inc. sent a letter to them on Monday, January 16, 2012, notifying… -
Re: Retarded Smugmug "Site Actions"
I already wrote, and no one has responded. I do not want the "Catergory deleted" Nor the three below (it's the individuals ALL BELOW THAT) in the Sumter Equestrian Center (Shows) Galleries That need to be deleted. Most important is the option to do this our self which could be quickly integrated. Sumter Equestrian Center… -
Re: Show us your business Card!
Hi Ellepixels, As you have probably noticed, there is a lot of reading in this post! If you haven't read all of the replies thus far, I'll give you the basics of the oppinions. Most have agreed that a card should show some artistic style even in the form of minimalism. Too much clutter will not highlight your skills as a… -

Re: A day in the life of dgrin! - the Big Reveal!...#2
Autumn leaves, archery, geese and snooker. I had a wonderful plan all laid out for Shootin' Saturday. First problem was I outdid meself in the wake up late part. I woke up around 10 am, ate and fell asleep again. This caused some worries along the lines of getting shoot everything and caused some over hurriedness in the… -
Re: Why should I stay with Smugmug for Weddings?
It would be suicide for me to leave SmugMug. I simply do not have the time to take tons of different orders, keep track of who has paid me and who has not, keep track of which prints have been send to the lab and what goes to who, etc. etc. Collecting & fulfilling on my own is a sure fire way to get behind on work and get… -
Re: Camera won't take anymore pictures...
This may save you some typing it's from your shot in the other thread. I just noticed it says 1375 shutter activations, wish Canon EXIF gave that info. Re: First Time Sports Tournament Photography - Need (Quick) Help!
Ok BigHotShot, Heres the deal. Are you setup for onsite printing? If not this is something you really need to do. To make money at these event's you really need to be able to deliver the goods on site so you can get the "Emotional" sales. If people have time to think rationally, less people buy. I would ask for a… -
Re: Basketball Tournament Time...
Uhm. Thats easy! Lights cycle at 60Hz in the US. Shooting video, you're doing 24 or 30fps. You are below the 1/60th of a second cycle of the lights, so the camera won't notice it, and typically when you shoot video you shoot 2x the speed you are shooting. So, 24fps is 1/48 and 30 is 1/60. So, reason why you don't see it is…
