Re: family shot
I'm still not using LR at all because I have no idea where to start! This stuff is just not intuitive for me. I'm using PSE 5 and the only reason I'm somewhat comfortable with that is because I took an on-line class about it back when PSE 3 was the newest thing. As far as I can tell, I am using sRGB. Re: What's the difference?
The 4.5 is made for a cropped sensor like your Canon 30D. The 8mm is made for a full frame body and if mounted on a 30D it would give you a image like this. http://www.photozone.de/Reviews/Canon%20EOS%20Lens%20Tests/45-canon-eos-aps-c/254-peleng-8mm-f35-fisheye-converted-to-eos-mount-test-report--review If you are looking… -

Re: Large Metallic Print Order
For sure? They have no sharpening on them. Granted, I do use Lucisart for detail addition... which can show as some sharpening :D And thanks. I used NIK set on continuous at 254 and was able to get them up a great deal and still look damn good. I can upload one of them in post-sharpened state if you'd like to see/suggest.… -
Florida Scrub Jays

For Sanctuary information and driving directions see: http://flwildlife.proboards56.com/index.cgi?board=wildlifeareas&action=display&thread=254 A number of different birds were observed including Florida Scrub Jays… -
Re: New earrings
I just checked the pic in PS. Moving from bottom to top, the RGB values go from ~255 across the board to ~250/252/254. Maybe that's that's where the slight blue tinge is coming from? I added a new Threshold layer and was able to see how the color changed slightly. I nudged the levels slider down to 249 and checked again.… -
Re: Did you notice the dog?
I'm not going to comment about the dog because obviously the beautiful girl is the center of attraction here. However, what I find so interesting is that by analyzing Tony's image using color correction by numbers (a technique used to correct the white balance of an image using threshold and level adjustments in Photoshop)… -
Minty Moose Peterson MP-7 Photopack
Hey All, I bought this really cool backpack camera bag right at the end of my DSLR days (about 2 years ago) and as a result it has been sittin' pretty in my closet, completely unused. The bag is in mint condition and has never been in the field. I bought it for $254 and that's the same price they go for now. Here's the web… -
Re: Star*Explorer Thread
Duplicates problem Hi, the duplicate check appears to be no longer working in my S*E. I recently upgraded to a SmugMug Power User account - is there anything related to this that might cause the dup check to break? I'm trying to go back and upload video clips from various folders...but they are all trying to re-up the…
