Best Of

This is a really nice topic - and where I will enjoy seeing all the beautiful and fun winter scenes. However, after our winter of Feb. 2023, I still have a different and traumatic view of winter. We had a Snowmageddon event that year, so here is my take on Winter Wonderland

This is the backyard with another night of snow in the offing. The small prints at the bottom of the shot are my small dog trying to figure out how to potty in his yard without drowning in snow. (I did dig out a spot under a tree in the side yard for his temporary toilet.)

This is a month later and the Great White Buffalo hung on in the Weeping Cherry tree, (there are two weeping cherries and both had buffalo residue)

And this is in the Tahoe National Forest - a nice winter day-trip - not in a Snowmaggedon year

Hi Sherry, Although I have to ask you not to consider these for judging, I have to jump into this challenge because I have so many snow/winter shots.
For the past few months things have been busy for us as we have been house-hunting and are not moving in 2 weeks, (eeek!!!) so I've not been able to participate in DGRIN as much as I'd like.
