"The point in life isn't to arrive at our final destination well preserved and in pristine condition, but rather to slide in sideways yelling.....Holy cow, what a ride."
i'm feeling a bit out of my league, but here are my humble offerings enjoy!
evening sun through front windows casts slender highlights.
forked lightning near arches nat'l park.
driving home one evening, this statuary caught my eye standing out against the amber sky. if i'd blinked i would have missed it, hidden from the road behind a fast food restaurant. two exposures - one for the statue, one for the moon to keep them both in focus.
i just went throught the entire thread and just felt like posting a global WOW...
Aaron, I'll see your "WOW" and raise you a "gasp." I am truly humbled and inspired by the talent here.
And thanks guys for your kind comments - especially after being frustrated with my slow progress lately, I needed some encouragement!

One shot in particular that I have taken seems to fit this theme, so I'll stick with this just to say I tried.

Ginko Leaf on a black bench, in the rain. Look close at the raindrops and you can see the building.
