I'll sign up, but want to check with a couple of LA friends to see if

Frank can't go...but I made up for it. I love the urban landsape stuff and this is something I'd never try to do without a group. Both days...

I thought I'd submitted one day before but I am not on the list. Dave, could we meet and carpool?

    Kathy,

Your one day registration is there, but wasn't at the time I did the update. You want me to change it to change it to both days?

re: carpool. Let's talk about it when we're closer to the date, ok?

Yes - I'm in for both days and yes, we can talk carpool closer in....do we need to pay/deposit now or is a group reservation going to be enough?

I'm going to collect names and see what kind of discount I can arrange, and then you will each contract with them directly.

David, I did a cross post to another board where I am active and there are a number of landscapers there but only a few in LA

    ALL:

I'm putting names down based on who's filled out the form. If you expressed interest in a post, I take it as interest, not a commitment. If you are going, please fill out the registration form.

    Thanks! thumb.gif

Moving to the March dates ruins this for me. The 29th is my birthday

(not that anyone around here cares) :cry

    and I'll be out-of-town.

I can't commit yet since I just found out that I might have guests staying with me for that weekend.

And the ironic part? They're coming up from Southern California. eek7.gif

Ask them to join the tour so you can stay at their place instead.:D

How do I always find out about LA stuff too late? I want to go but I know I'll be in heavy-duty mode work-wise then. Next time. Too bad, would be fun to do it with a bunch of grinners.

    Checking in?
Being that I am always early for signing up for stuff and then putting it on my calendar, I wanted to check in and see if we have to do anything else at this point....have we confirmed with the tour people?ne_nau.gif

No, they're holding the spots until the end of the month. At that time I'll gather all the names and post something here.

Thought I would bump this to see what the status is? Is the list in the first post current? Hopefully we will get a few more to sign up in the next two days...

It is up to date now. Except that I didn't include my 16 yo son, who will probably come, as well.

I've sent an email off to them to find out how to proceed from here.

I've got registration information, but so far it's only for those buying both days. I'm not clear yet on how single day purchases get the 10%, so that'll be coming soon.

In any case, I've emailed those who've registered for both days with the instructions on how to pay for the trip.

Any questions, let me know! And as soon as I find out how to get 10% off for the people buying single days, I'll let you know by email, as well. clap.gif

I received the e-mail. I do have a question though, is there a deadline when we need to have our money in?

Doesn't look like there's a big rush for these things, but since the group is limited, you might want it in before all the spots are taken. Full refund if canceled >30 days before the tour.
