Love the thread and the pics. Very much remind me of Adventure Kitty at ADV. Great composition and I second or third the idea of making a series of children's books. Motion carried. deal.gif

Best wishes to you and your dad. It sounds like the doctor is optimistic, which is always a good thing.

Really like what you've been doing here Jessy. Nice to see I'm not the only one that takes pictures of action figures every once in a while. I think you've inspired me to start posting some of my own. Hope things go well with your dad's health.

Can't even imagine the looks you would have got when taking this picture. Hallarious. Hopefully Baxter didn't get mowed over by the food cart.

Did you have to book a separate seat or did they allow you to have him sit on your lap.

Ha! Actually the seat next to me was conveniently unoccupied so Baxter could sprawl out on the tray table and not bother me.

Such a neat little idea! Hopefully this box character doesn't take the place of real life friends :D

Of course not! :) Most of the time I'm shooting Baxter its a group activity. I call a few people and just say I'm going to shoot Baxter and they come along for the ride.

I initially saw this thread about a month ago and was captivated by the character and the skill of your composition and lighting. Unfortunately I didn't comment then and forgot what the thread title was. I thought I'd lost it :cry . But now I've found it again clap.gif .

I think I need a similar little character that I can use to practice with. Where can I find something similar?

:) thanks for the love everyone! I did take some time off... breaking up with a boyfriend can bum you out for a while on creative stuff. But all is well and good wings.gif

    And Baxter is back!

    Great pictures thumb.gif

Makes one feel better on a grey rainy day. (It's gettting closer and closer to winter over here :cry )

I saw Baxter (or one of his friends or relatives :D ) in a shop somewhere in San Diego when I was there beginning of october. I really hate myself now that I didn't buy one.

I live in San Diego and I own a small marketing company (http://www.creativesoup.com) , full time doing logos, business cards, websites, banners and such for small businesses. I'm 26 and shoot basically for fun and some paid gigs. But mostly for the fun of it. That about sums up the person behind Baxter :).
