The balletdancer in the former picture looks very much as the members of Les Ballets Trockadero de Monte Carlo. I happened to see their performance (O Lago dos Cisnes II - Go for Barocco - Paquita) in April 2008 in this theatre:
I saw Les Ballets Trockadero perform Swan Lake in San Francisco about 25 years or so ago. Enjoyed them then, enjoyed seeing the theatre that you visited, Jorgen, and particularly enjoyed seeing your photo, Richard!!
