Hey, guys. I am having focus issues and I'm not sure if it's the body or my lenses. I would like to be included on the list if possible. Thanks so much.
Guys... I am sorry. I forgot all about this. I was called to an emergency trip to the Philippines and I will be here another 3 weeks.
I talked with my wife and she said I got something in the mail. I am sure it is the lens align. I am going to have to pass on this opportunity and send it on to the next person in line.
Can you send me the next address so I can have my wife send it on?
Thank you! And I appreciate the offer on the lend it forward.

It has arrived! My stomach hit the ground at first, found the envelope crammed into my mailbox, but it was not damaged. Hopefully I can get everything set up and started tonight, if not tonight, I will be getting started in the morning. Thanks again! I will post updates and findings when I am done.
Ok, all finished and it is on its way to bbeck4x4. I will give my results and thoughts from work tonight....I am very impressed and my only problem now is, I can no longer wonder if it was me or the lens. Thanks again Pupator!
Glad to hear it! And thanks for keeping the ball rolling. I'm normally more diligent about checking in but we moved this week so I've been rather consumed with that.
Ok, so I finally get a chance to share my experience with everyone. I found that each lens I tested was back focusing.
Final settings ended up as follows:
70-200 /2.8 -7
85 /1.8 -9
50 /1.8 -10
28-75 /2.8 -6
I took advantage of a beautiful day and set up outside. I wanted to set up outside anyway so I could use the concrete driveway so I would have very stable footing for the tripods. Set up went very quick, only took a few minutes to dial in the alignment. I used the 2 second timer for my shutter release to take my hand out of the equation (couldn't find my remote release). Once I found the setting that got me in the ballpark, I was able to fine tune it with the assistance of shooting tethered (DSLR Remote Pro).
My normal shooting happens to be at wide open/near wide open so I tested all my lenses at the largest f/stop. Shooting outside allowed me to shoot at iso 100 and get a s/s of 4000.
My only regret is that I didn't have longer with this wonderful tool. My current work schedule didn't allow me time to adjust and then go shoot in the real world for final testing. I am still grateful for being able to use this and I can't wait to see the results I get now.
Waiting to hear from Planet Beck about its safe arrival!
It arrived last friday, but with my daughters wedding coming in two weeks, I've been a bit busy Till today, My 17-50 Tamron that I had adjusted to a +5 with a battery test, turned out to not need any adjustment at all, all of my other lenses were perfect at 0. except from a old film 28-70 lens, that lens I had almost tossed, and almost given away because it had never been very sharp, always soft, that lens needed a -12 and it is tack sharp now, although I may send it in for adjustment if I ever need to use it on a different cam.
Looks like the USPS thought that it should go to LA first
I'll likely have it today (tomorrow at the latest) and will have hubby help me crank it out this weekend so I can put it back in the mail on Monday. Next on the list, can you PM me your mailing address? :ivar
It arrived today. Woot! Can't wait to see how it goes. I'll post my thoughts and results once I get through all my gear and have it back in the mail no later than Tuesday (hoping my next lens shows up in the mail tomorrow or Monday, but will send it out no matter what on Tuesday).
Next on the list is me I think I've completely changed my lens line-up since I had it last!
If the new lens doesn't arrive until Tuesday, I wouldn't worry about mailing it to me until you've had a chance to calibrate for it. I can wait an extra day or two if it helps.
