Next on the list is me :) I think I've completely changed my lens line-up since I had it last!

If the new lens doesn't arrive until Tuesday, I wouldn't worry about mailing it to me until you've had a chance to calibrate for it. I can wait an extra day or two if it helps.

    I'll PM you my address.
You are awesome! I honestly ordered the new lens when I did hoping it would get here before I had to send out the Lensalign. You guys are doing serious damage to my wallet! I've added 2 L lenses just so I could get them calibrated with my other lenses. mwink.gif Or at least that was part of my justification. It will be on route to you on Wednesday then since UPS says my Canon 24-70 will be here from Adorama tomorrow. Woot!

P.S. You are wicked awesome. iloveyou.gif

Had time to do tonight to do:
    17-55 f/2.8 - needed +3
    70-300 VR - needed -6
    50mm f/1.8D - needed -3

Did not have time for the 12-24 tonight. The 50mm f/1.8G arrives Monday. I'll get it done then and put it in the mail when we leave for vacation Tuesday.

    Help Please
I recently bought this tool and it did not come with any instruction. I have viewed the short video but it is geared toward the pro model. Any direction would be greatly appreciated. It is a nice day here in Georgia and would like to work with each of my lens. Thanks to all for a great thread site....

It took me a bit to find the right information online to TELL me what the heck to do. The ones I found most useful (and notes about it) I posted back at http://www.dgrin.com/showpost.php?p=1595514&postcount=51

    good luck!

Having some difficulty in getting this complete. I started the other night with 1 of 4 lenses, but without tethering and clear instructions I found it quite time consuming to yield good results. I'm going to try again tonight tethered and with better lighting and see if I can make it through. If not, I'll send it right back to you (as it appears that no one else is on the list behind me, correct?). Apologies for the delay.

    Thanks again!

There's no need to rush it back to me - you've got time to get it right. Did you watch the videos linked-to earlier in the thread? They're essential, as is great light, and live view and/or tethering (I used both).

    Thank you very much.

I'm shooting tethered into lightroom3 via my canon 50D (for the first time), and each time I go into the canon menu to adjust the microfocus setting for the lens, the tethering gets severed somehow, so I have to restart everything in between each shot. It doesnt visibly appear to get severed, but it simply stops downloading images into lightroom, until i restart LR and turn the camera off/on again.

This has slowed me down quite a bit, cant find an answer on the net.

ok! Finally got this complete. Paul, I'll PM you for your return address and send it to you right away per your initial instructions. Apologies again for the delay. Thanks again for loaning it forward!!! Very kind of you.

If anyone is interested, my Canon 50D adjustments were as follows:
    70-200mm f4 = -4
    24-105mm f4 = -5
    17-55mm f2.8 = +2
    10-22mm = -11
    50mm f1.4 = -4

I was hoping for some consistency here to guesstimate at future lenses, but the +2 throws that out the window!

Did anyone else experience the following issue?:
Canon 50D tethered into Lightroom on a Windows7 machine. Each time you go into the camera's menu and make an autofocus adjustment, it would kill the USB connectivity, requiring a restart of both the camera and LR3? I tried it on both my desktop PC and Laptop. This slowed me down significantly, but I couldn't imagine doing this exercise without tethering.

    Cheers!
    -Chris D.
