Here's how it works:

Andy's coming up on his 10,000th post. All you have to do is guess the day, hour and minute (am or pm!) closest (without going over!) and you will win 1 year's free subscription to smugmug.

All submissions and judging will be based on NYC time.

NO GUESSES IN THIS THREAD! All submissions are to be made to me by PM. If you post your guess in this thread you will be disqualified.

After you PM your guess, post a message in this thread saying "PM sent, I'm in!"

Submissions must be in by noon, Sunday, October 30th.

Moderators are not eligible.

    What does "without going over" mean?

    Your time must be before his 10000, or after? or before 10001?

    Going over means that any guess after his official 10,000th posting is ineligible.

    So I'm not able to win :cry But I do aim to get closest to the actual time nonetheless. I am using my proprietary predictive math formula for this task. I once won a prize for guessing a jar of jellybeans to within 9 of the actual 4,990.

    Is it locked so we can't see it? We should see his numbers jumping and going up, right?

    Andy averages ONLY 14 posts a day? I would have thought much more than just 14 posts -- is this count for New Threads that a person starts, or anytime someone replies to a thread?

    when you make a new post, all your old posts will show the new number count.

    the average/day count that shows in an individual profile, is the number of posts over the number of days that person has been a member :D
