    So, as we get closer, I'm going to post this clarification:

    The winner will be the closest without going over. That means that if your guess is 5 minutes LATER than Andy's 10k post, you will lose, even if the closest guess EARLIER than Andy's 10k post is 3 hours before. Make sense? I hope so, cause that's how this game works...

    Another one bites the dust.

    Yes, sir, sser's guess passed into obscurity last night at 8:07pm, when another hopeful guess claimed the current spot...we're getting closer and closer to the final, exciting moment when Andy breaks 10k! He'll never run one, but he sure can post 'em faster than anyone else!

    Only 75 to go!

    Is Andy lurking out there? Curious to know if the contest has caused him to think about posting?

    Anyway - this contest was/is a great idea and I've had more fun watching and waiting than I should.

    I don't think he knows any numbers or names (even if he did I don't care - best I recall this is a free chance to win - I'm not out any monies). Just the psyche behind people betting on and watching what he's doing as he pushes toward the "Magical" 10,000 enter key (or Mac equivalent)

    With 9,993 at the time of this writing, I can now begin to deal with the fact that my guess was way off.

    Placing all my bets on May 8th, 2006 at 4:56am was just a bad idea.
