If only our panniers hadn't been so wide, perhaps we could have made it...:D :nah...not really...

It looks to me that the Shapes challenge has stopped....

Thanks Denise and Tatiana, If you ever come to Rotterdam go and visit it, it's a beautiful building with lots of photo opportunities. Also looking from the outside:

Thanks for the view from the outside - I had no idea what the building would look like. Very interesting.
Denise, I briefly saw your Lifting bridge that you posted a few seconds later then my La Sardina, but after that you seem to have deleted it.
According to the rules you could have just left it there since the rules in the first post say: If 2 posts the same letter at the same time, then both posters have to wait for someone to post the next image.

So you could have left it there without problems.
Thanks for the reminder. We must have posted at very close to the same time; mine was after yours so I figured I'd just remove it.
This is a lovely shot, Denise - where was it taken?
Thanks Sara!
That is in South Dakota. I was visiting Badlands National Park, staying at Circle View Ranch in Interior, SD. (And yes, Interior is really the name of the town.) This photo was taken from the back of the house.
In an effort to get the shapes and color challenge going again I made the original challenge (a green square) a lot simpler. Take a look and post your pic
It seems my last challenge isn't as easy as I thought. Here's a few examples of what to look for: Google Bow, and that doesn't even include examples of a bow used to play a violin/cello/bass, which would also be fine with me.

I suspected this was the Loire so I followed the link and checked out your gallery - amusingly enough, we have some of the very same pictures. :-) I loved the Amiens shots, too - I haven't been there since the 80s but the majesty still remains in my mind.
Thanks Sara, these shots were all from last summer but I haven't had time to post a lot of them yet, there's probably more then 20 times this number still waiting to be processed and posted.

This was at an exhibit at Longwood Gardens, I think around Christmas a couple of years ago.

Don't you think the little trail at the left of the stairs is broad enough to cycle up?
