I love the duck too........but in my view....if you dimmed the foreground some that would put more attention on duck...especially if its head is brightened some!

thanks for your comments Taz! I agree with what you said, unfortunately, if you look closely at the duck, it is not the sharpest. When I took the picture, I had to shoot over a low fence, so it was a blind shot as I had to lift the camera over my head. I am in a wheelchair and the top of the fence pole was right at eye level for me. Thus the focus of the whole image, seems to be slightly off. I posted it here to meet the theme of water, since the water is more in focus and shouting to be seen in this case. If the duck was more focused, I would to as you suggested and call it a wildlife shot!

That's Auxerre in France. You had better weather as when we stopped there for a lunch break (on our way to Andorra)
Yes, that day we had great luck with the weather - we had a beautiful bike ride of about 60km up the Canal du Nievre ending in Auxerre. On the whole however, we didn't have great luck in our two week trip to Burgundy. Several days we had to make excursions by car rather than bicycle because the weather didn't cooperate.
