Can someone with the ability to change the menus in dgrin change the Support dropdown from the menu bar under the forum header adjust the entries under support? The menu needs the new SmugMug Feature Requests and New SmugMug Customization, and the existing SmugMug Customization should be changed to Legacy SmugMug Customization.

Guys, need this one excluded from the New Stuff search:
couldn't recover old forum account
Hi! I just had to re-register on the forum. I was already registered and tried to recover the password. But when I tried the password recovery, it said that the email address wasn't know. And when I tried to register with that same email address, it said that the address was already in use. This happened for two different addresses ... Bug?

Can you reply (in a private message) with your original username and email address please?

Can we try...
...to assist in keeping threads on track w/ the original post? I know the job as a moderator is not easy, but I see so many hi-jacked threads that it geat difficult to follow a useful thread to conclusion and in some cases even follow a thread because it gets bogged down in posts that are not near the original topic.
Case in point, there is a very nice (all be it useless now) thread regarding the addition of Paypal to a site. It totally lost its way in an argument w/ SM over esentially the way SM "does business." Another case is the "Show us your Smugmug" thread. The thread is intended to show off and ask for critical review of one's site.... there are so many side conversations on the thread it's a PIA to sort thru. Can't these side conversations be moved to their own thread and the participants be directed to finish their conversation in that thread? If a dgrinner has a custmization question... do as I was told to do long ago, start a thread. Many can learn from the threads people start, but it's difficult to find some of the useful info if it's buried in another totally unrealted thread as a side conversation.
Just my 2 cents...
Everything I know about CSS and HTML I learned on Dgrin!

Agreed!
I find the support and customization forums extremely frustrating right now for the reasons you mentioned. I have asked people to post new threads and I have moved some posts into separate threads but that small effort doesn't seem to help. Unfortunately there are a few folks who are extremely unhappy who are posting the same comments in multiple threads - not realizing or not caring that their behavior is making others not want to help them and that their posts are hiding legitimate requests for help. I'm not sure how to get that behavior to stop. (That's not very helpful of me, is it? Sorry...)
If you see posts that should be split into other threads or threads that are out of control it would likely help if you could post a note here with a link to the thread or posts so one of the moderators can try to help.
