As already stated, I'm not worried about my blog right now it is UNDER CONSTRUCTION. It says that simply at the top. I'm focusing on my web-site and why google isn't finding it- I'll get to my blog when it's finished.
I don't get what 'the one giant keyword is that no one would use'?? The keyword is 'northwest arkansas wedding newborn photography' or something else like that. I don't see one giant word??? I'm confused.
and what is a backlink???
Seems like if writing a post in this forum can be found in google before my website does even with all the different keywords and text's i've put throughout my website, and it's still not showing up all the way back to page 25 - then something else is wrong. ????

These things really do work. Google for "Andy Williams" - my photo website appears on page one - no small feat, since there's a pretty famous guy by the same name.

I think I already figured out how to fix it.

Can someone give some advice on how to optimize my google search through my smugmug site. There are several cities in a small radius of where I live. I would like for me website to be found when people search for the general area which is Northwest arkansas (wedding photographer or newborn photographer), then also for the specific cities, such as rogers, bentonville, fayettveille & Springdale. Right now when I google my name for newborn photographers, I show up in the second page for the specific cities but when I search the general area (northwest arkansas). I'm no where to be found. Being found for the general area of Northwest Arkansas is very important because this entire area is referenced to as that.
Does any of that makes sense??? Any advice on ways I can get my site closer to the top of google search would be great!

It was a free download from the Photoshelter site - if you can't find it let me know and I'll email it to you.

I keep getting different answers from different people, I've seen other photography sites Titles in my area and there's are really long as well with all the different services and cities in the area. (for instand hudsonphotos.com, they are one of the big wedding photographers in the area) I've been told the more keywords the better- but now you are saying its too long????????? There are many large cities in my area and I don't live in any of them.
The problems is that google is not seeing any text in my website at all. I just put in a blog post and google is seeing my blog - it's at the very end of the search on page 40- but its there. My website is no where to be found with general google searches. I'm not looking for it to be at the top of the list right now JUST FOUND.
