Naw. If I did, I certainly wouldn't be scratching around trying to save $15 on a lens or flashhead. Haha. Would be nice though! I think I'll take the $40 savings my entire order should save and move on til next time. I'm not complaining. That's at least free shipping right there!

    DEAL: B&H codes/sales
B&H has a new code from the [FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]Photo Plus Expo in NY.

Do a search for PPE06 on their site.

Also, the 5D which was listed for 2749.95 with the PSAUG code is now $30.00 cheaper ($2719.95) with the new code! wings.gif

I also got a catalog FULL of specials while at the show. Some are not in that PPE06 code. For example, 15% off Gitzo tripods.

Lotsa good discounts there. Canon lenses, ExpoDiscs...

...hey, are my eyes deceiving me, or are they pricing Import models higher than the USA warranty models, like with the Canon lenses? Isn't it usually the other way around?

I was confused at first too, but it's because they're automatically taking the discount off the price. So yes the final price is less than the import ones.

    COSTCO has 5d for $2500

COSTCO has the 5D as a featured item on their web page (www.costco.com). There is a $300 rebate making the price $2499.00. Might be worth the $50 membership fee.

B&H shows only 256 items displayed which is their maximum, and I have to refine my search. How do I see the other items on sale if I do not know what they are?

Limit your search in some way, search by individual brands, pricing high to low, then low to high, etc. By brand seems to be the easiest.

So glad I saw this post. Have been wanting the 70-200 IS. Told my husband about the discount and he just told me to go ahead and order it. I guess he is just sick of hearing about it all the time. Does anyone know the ending date of these discounts?

I simply dont get this whole code thing headscratch.gif If you are passing around a 'secret' code for a discount at a store via the internet ...why wouldnt you just sell the item at that discounted price in the first place ?

What do they do here ? Leak the code & wait for orders ?

Targeted marketing and measured response advertising. In the retail world that's how sales managers gauge if a target audience (NY Photo Show in this case) has received the flyer (# of potential customers) and then bought (sales). The ratio is important along with the outcome in sales. Then the determination is made if the cost of the advertising was less than the gross profit made on the sales. Net sales are the result if all costs of the advertising campaign are included.

Hopefully, B&H now realizes that their potential customers are now more numerous due to the internet forums that discuss these search codes. They haven't tried to stop the practice and I suspect they're happy with the results.

This code no longer gives the discounts. Luckily I grabbed my new Canon 24-105 f/4 L IS last week. The price now is exactly $100 more.

UPDATE!!! I just checked and now psnov works. The Canon 24-105 is the same price that I paid for it. I'll grab another lens and get a double rebate. That means I will own the 24-105 for $943.30 delivered!

Check each product catagory separately, like "Canon," or one of those other camera companies, none of which come to mind right now for some reason headscratch.gif .

I have never added up the totals from each company selection that way, but I'd bet all of the 329 are viewable.

The PSNOV is now not showing the discount....I was hoping to get a good deal on some pocket wizards but the "sale" price is the same as the full price.

So I will continue my shopping........

Sounds like a hard way to do it but okay.
