I second JohnC's request. I would like to buy either the Sigma 10-20, 150 Macro, or 100-300/4. B/H codes for either of these three would be appreciated! thumb.gif

    You're in luck!

I found this page of B&H codes:

    http://www.photoprice.ca/bh-codes

Funny thing. I added a few items to my wish list at B&H this afternoon, sort of gearing for the 2008 shootout. I added the 70-200 L 2.8 IS USM. Two hours later, while hanging at Dgrin, I follow this link, and exchange the lens into my wish list, $100 less. Even after the $125 rebate. Is this for real!

And the Fall Rebates on these are in addition to these low prices??? Sheeeeeesh. Thank heavens I already have the lenses I want from this list, or I would be in huuuuge trouble right now. That Speedlite is looking tempting, though :D.

What puzzles me is that these prices are lower than what you get if you access the equipment normally. Has a discount code been applied?

Apparently so. Look at the stock#s on those product pages ... the ones I looked at all start with "PPE", which is a clue.

B&H attends, and often sponsors, various trade shows, seminars and conventions throughout the country. Whenever we attend these events we offer promotional "Show Specials" catalogs which include special promotional pricing on a variety of popular products. These specials are designed to be exclusively for show attendees, who often incur considerable expense (travel, lodging, entry fees) to participate. For the convenience of show attendees we include product sku codes so they can easily avail themselves of these specials.

In the past, the links to show specials were inadvertently widely open to non-attendees. New website updates have made it possible to handle these specials as they were always intended to be handled -- available to show attendees for their use. If someone attended an event we sponsor or in which we participate, printed catalogues were distributed or handed out at our show booth. If anyone wants to order, he or she can simply refer to the catalog, find the items he or she wishes to purchase, and call with special product code. If someone attended a show and did not receive a "Show Specials" catalog, he or she can call, stating which specific show, date, and city location attended, and what products are sought and we will assist the customer.

Oh, now I see on the BobAtkins page: "Good news is that it's an `instant rebate', i.e. the rebate is deducted at the time of purchase so you have no forms to fill in."

So the "rebate" is already baked into the price at the authorized dealers.

Sir, if you are the public persona of B&H let me tell you that you guys are the ne plus ultra and the only place that I will ever buy camera equipment from even though you are a huge schlep for me. So with that said, could you please make sure I get a Canon 1d Mk III when they come in?? Love you, man!!!

I'm sure if you place an order, B&H will happily and promptly put you into the queue for a shiny new 1D MkIII (or perhaps you're thinking of a 1Ds MKIII? mwink.gif). The sooner you order, the sooner you'll have it...

Hey guys - just a heads up, the thread that Scott started with this post started off on a seperate topic, but has become a deal/sale/code thread for B&H, so I've just merged it with the original B&H code thread.

No queue, no advance orders, no ship date from Canon, no nothin'! Not B&H's fault -- Canon had issues with the camera initially (AF related), reportedly has them resolved but is now behind in production. The over-under on how long B&H has them in stock once they do ship is 6 -- HOURS! I will take action, which may help me pay for one. . .
