What's your desktop background?

I have a collection (that slowly, very slowly, grows) of images that I cycle through as desktop backgrounds. I've never seen a photographer who doesn't use one of his or her own images as a desktop background, so lets see what you're currently sporting. Somehow they look better at 1400x1050. This is the one I just changed from

(taken inside a Porsche Carrera 996 - that's my right hand, with my left hand holding my 20D w/50 1.4 - it was pretty hard to contort my body to get that

And this is the one I just changed to (on the Blue Ridge Pkwy, as seen through my 20D w/17-40 f/4L)

Mine is b0ring :D I keep it neutral so that I'm not distracted when editing photos. This is a pair of 23" Apple Cinemas, on my Mac Pro. Mac on your left, Winders in your right. Now I *do* have a slideshow screensaver, rotating from all of my photos. I dig that.

You're that boring, yet you're a mac user? Did you work at IBM back during the white shirt/blue suit/dark tie days?

Kinda. I was a rebel, though, and would show up to work in a blue Oxford. They'd ask me, "you driving the bus today?"

So you're running windows virtualized? That hogs alot of memory, no? How's Photoshop on your Mac while you have that running?

Yes, with Parallels. No, you decide how much memory to give it. I have 1gig for Windows, 5gigs left to Mac, it's all good thumb.gif

I usually just pick one of my pictures to use as a background, this is what I have now. It was taken at the UT vs. LSU game last week.

Why does your start menu area look so much cooler than most of what I see?

I guess they freshed it up a bit and they didn't do that to XP Pro. Yours looks almost 3D.

Well, thanks to this thread, I realized I hadn't changed the desktop for months.

The old one was some fireworks from the 4th of July.
    The new one is this.
