I think it is a great idea - and generous too. I'd be thrilled to win because I don't own CS. However, if you already own it and win the lottery, why not give it to a friend or struggling photographer you know? Good publicity for SmugMug/dGrin and a few pay in forward points for you!

    Virginia

P.S. Awais, I too am surprised that someone who gives such great feedback hasn't been voting. But I know that it can be hard to choose between a lot of excellent photos, each with a different approach to the challenge theme. DoctorIt is right. Just vote for the picture that you like best. You don't have to agree with everyone else. Remember that each photographer in the top ten appreicates and is encouraged by a vote for his or her picture, even if (maybe especially if) it doesn't win.

Wow! I'm glad I checked in today. I'm sorry I have not been around too much lately. My work has kept me busy, and then trips, the Holidays, etc. etc. etc. ...

I do try to check in here every few days. I look at the current challenges and see if the topic fits in with what I'm doing. (I keep it in the back of my mind as I go about my life.) I have not entered in a while, but I try to vote.

So, I voted! That means my name is in the barrel.

Thanks, Dgrin, for all the freebies. I love this site! clap.gifclap.gif

Joke, got it. But in the interest of full disclosure, it wouldn't matter. One entry per dgrinner in the final "list that goes in the hat". thumb.gif

Just a quick question, does that mean ONE copy of CS2
will be given after december, or does that mean one copy
of CS2 will be given away after each challenge till december?

Cauze I didnt see a winner from the shiluette challengey, yet.

I don't get it - how do you actually vote in a challenge? Is there a poll somewhere we can use? Send an email? How does this happen... ne_nau.gif

    Yes, there's a poll.

Head on over to the Photo Challenges forum, and maybe read all about the challenges. The current challenge, 79-Waiting, will end this coming Monday Dec 11. Look for a new voting thread to show up then. It will be stuck at the top of the forum, you can't miss it. But for reference, it will look like this one - 78-Silhouettes - which is obviously closed now.
