    OK, one more hint, then I'll reveal. It's not environmentally friendly and has many uses from insulator, used in packaging, and can be found around water.

    Correct. I found these at my marina this weekend. When I got a tight shot of them, they looked very different. The water changed the original shape and color from a square white block of Styrofoam.
