    Nikon 80-200/2.8 AFS
    Nikon 85/1.8D

    MF
    Nikkor 105/2.5
    Jupiter 135/3.5

But this is going to be a tough poll. You may want to break them up a bit more. Like LONG, STANDARD & WIDE polls? Maybe even different brands... (?)

EDIT: Ok, maybe I didn't see the poll. But I'm selectively blind sometimes...

It was just a lens range... not an exact model, so primes count too.

Until I get an "L" lens in it's range, my walkaround lens, and what I take most of my shots with, is the much maligned-by-others Canon 17-85 EF-S.

There have been many times where I have almost upgraded to a 17-40 or 24-105 or 24-70, and I just haven't gotten out the credit card yet. I'm still happy with the range and results of my "kit" lens.

    Canon
    EF-S 10-22 USM
    EF-S 17-85 IS USM
    EF 50 f/1.8
    EF 70-200L f/2.8 IS USM
    EF 100-400L IS USM

I used them all, depending on the gig.

    It's my walkaround lens,too :-)
I don't care what others say, I like this lens and I use it a lot with the result I like. I've sold quite a few pictures taken with it, so apparently not everybody has a problem with it:-)
I used to have 28-135 before, but it was not wide enough, so I sold it without a shadow of regret.
I have almost decided to upgrade to 17-55 f/2.8 when the news of 1D3 came out, so I changed my mind and decided to keep saving.. lol3.gif

I'd have to say my favorite lens to use is the 24-70/2.8L based on the amount of time it's on the camera. Good walkaround & general use, and perfect for my most common venue (24mm too long on a crop? BAH! no it isn't!).

But then the lens I've used that's blown me away the most with it's quality has to be the 300/2.8L IS. Holy cow, what a lens! bowdown.gif

It's really too hard to pick, I use them all. My most versatile and my walkaround lens is the 24-105L. But for low light and picture-pleasing quality I love my 200L 2.8L and the 35 1.4L. Then there's always the 85 1.8 and so on and so on.....:D

The lenses I usually carry with my 5D are 35/1.4, 50/1.4, 85/1.8 and 135/2. I like to think of the set as my 35-135 f/2 "zoom." If I think I will need longer than that, I bring the 200/2.8 and the 1.4x TC, but 90% of my shots are in the 35-135 range.

On a full frame body, I find both the 24-70 and the 70-200 zoom ranges to be awkward. When I travel light I carry the 24-105/4 IS and sometimes the 70-300 DO IS. Both of them are great lenses, but I am a sucker for fast apertures and creamy boke so usually I am happier to be shooting with the primes.

I like the range of the 28-135 IS, but it's not my favorite to use even though it's the most practical walk around I have. Would be nice if it went down to 18mm.

My favorite lenses to use are the 100-400 IS and the 70-200.
    I can't even get my hands on a 50 1.8 (B&H hasn't had them in stock since February) but I liked the 50 1.4.

I want the nice sharp Canon 18-200L F1.4 IS USM. No such thing, eh? rolleyes1.gif

ok, since there are no Zuikos yet...
My favorite lenses? The ones I own and can use to take pictures.

    Olympus
    Zuiko Digital 11-22 f2.8-3.5 (22-44 FOV)
    Zuiko Digital 14-54 f2.8-3.5 (28-108 FOV)
    Zuiko Digital 50-200 f2.8-3.5 (100-400 FOV)
    Zuiko Digital 50 f2.0 macro (100 FOV)

    If I take one: 14-54
If I take two: 11-22 and 50 or (if long tele is expected) 50-200

I prefer the wide angle to normal range, but sometimes like to take a (short) tele shot as well. This is why although I prefer my 11-22 over the 14-54, I take the latter if I only take one lens.
enjoy being here while getting there
