To make it more dramatic, next time try to get VERY low!deal.gifmwink.gif

Good idea. I will be in that area later this week, if I have time I may try it again from the lower angle.

Those are nice, but when you said "found".. Does it mean you shot them before you knew about this assignment? If that's the case, they don't count, we're looking fo fresh shots ne_nau.gif

For some reason this piece of road reminds me of the scene from "Oh Brother, Where Art Thou", when they heard the "sirens"...

My first go at an assignment. I know it's an older assignment however I took this shot a couple of weeks ago and hope it fits the VP criteria :)

    It does nicely! :-) thumb.gif
As a reminder: no matter how old a particular WA is, pictures must be fresh, i.e. taken *with* the particular WA in mind, not just "oh, look, nice theme and I have a shot from the last year that fits perfectly" deal.gif

Thanks, Frank, very nice VPs! thumb.gif
Just for the record: the last one, being a great image, is not a VP showcase since the latter usually requires a much geater length of a perspective coversion ...

Yes, I'm aware. I just thought I'd include the location where the first two were shot. I found it funny, that a street near the Holland tunnel could be that desolate. It looks like you stepped into the twilight zone when you look down that block. Fun times. Now, to get back to my assignments! LoL.

I wonder if it would look better in bw or sepia with some grain and vignetting added...Would prolly be totally 1920-ies look-n-feel
