Iko
Iko is a 7 month old Border Collie trying out sheep herding for the first time since he was a little pup. I'd say he got a little over zealous. Not to worry no sheep were hurt during this training session :-)
So Kelso gave us a bit of a scare a couple weeks ago - three days of no moving, no eating, no tail wags or smiles. Took him to the vet (this has been a problem in the past) without incident. Actually, the new vet was amazing, and earned a huge shout out from us.
Happily, it seems he ingested some parasite that has run it's course, and we have our happy go lucky dog back.
Dog Days of Summer ...
Our 3 year old shepherd, Skipper, just LIVES to swim in the pool. We joke that he's training for the next Olympics
He will literally retrieve his ball from the pool for hours. And when we get tired (read:fed up) of throwing his ball in the pool for him, he just drops it in himself!
Here's my three, Zephyr, Saturn, and Morgan in the snow this winter:

I little too smart for her own good most the time. The personality is just a riot. Only barks if alerting on something for protection. The rest of the time just big sighs, squeaks, relaxing moans and the most humorous human like cry for about 20 seconds every time she is separated from the family pack. Definitely a Velcro pack dog that wants to be with you 24/7. Works for me.
Speaking of barking...mine is just plain quiet. Oh, he barks once and a while but even the mailman doesn't phase him.
Just now, we were watching Nat Geo (he sits on the couch too) a tiger was running at the camera. OMG! I thought he was gonna lose it The bark was coming from way back toward his butt. So funny!

but married men are a lot more willing to die.:dunno
Glad Kelso's doing better. Always hate to see them so quiet when they're normally rambunctious.
Nice looking spaniels too!

Big belly caused from very enlarged spleen and liver cancer tumor.......
She's actually much more gentle than she looks when chasing tennis balls. Best breed of dog I have ever been around.
