Sheaf,
Just wanted to see if the straps are in the mail yet, I'm still needing a strap for the new dslr.
Hate to bug you about a freebie but I will be proud to show my support for the site.
Thanks
It's in the mail, I promise. Just for kicks, I paid a bit extra for tracking on some packages a few weeks ago and some of the domestic ones took as long as 2 weeks to arrive. Just a bit more patience
No offense to any Canadian postal workers out there, but the Canadian system seems to be one of the worst in the world.
I initially wondered why it was cheaper to send a package to the far reaches of Canada than to a house down the street. Then I realized that shipping to the house down the street was actually somewhat dependable and wouldn't take 2 months.
I did some tracking on Canadian packages a few months ago. The results were not encouraging.
Give it a few more weeks and let me know if it still hasn't arrived.
Hey Sheaf do your best !!!!
I would like to have mine before my trip to Germany,Austria, and Czech Republic...Leaving with my 14 and 17 yr old boys April 6th..(Hockey)
Thanx from another Canadian: Brady
No promises are a given !!!! I will cross my fingers !!

Hehe, you'll get no arguments from me--I think Canada post feels that if a package is going to take 6 weeks and a miracle to reach Nunavut, it wouldn't be fair that the one you sent down the street got any better service...
Of course, then there's customs :shudders:
But as has been mentioned, simply the fact that somewhere, somehow, there's a strap that may oneday be mine, makes me plenty happy
Wow - I didn't think I was going to get one after all, but the Smugmug guys DID come through indeed and mine just arrived in the mail. And no, it's not some cheapo contraption, it's actually reeeeaaally nice!
Go Smugmug !

Got Mine!
My very cool SmugMug camera strap arrived yesterday. I was so excited to put it on I had to do it TWICE!!! (that's because the first time I installed it I neglected to orient the strap so the logo was right-side up).
When I went out with it last night to a social gathering, I got several complimentary comments.
got my strap!!
I got my strap yesterday and couldn't wait to put it on. It's VERY nice! My son who is interested in photography saw the strap and wanted to try it out. I made him pose with it for this thread. A real 'smug mug' holding the smugmug strap!
It will hopefully go out Monday. Sorry about the delay.
Just like you said!
This greeted me at my mailbox today (haven't checked the mail in a few days)
And here's the lovely Mrs. Tommyboy modeling the strap that will hold the camera that will take the pictures of the baby that will be born in about five months!
As others have said, it's a beautifully manufactured, high-quality strap. Very comfortable, too.
Thanks again, SmugMug. You guys are the best!

Yeah, I have it and should be able to get it out fairly soon. I am doing the last of the orders of logged in SmugMuggers still.
It is funny every one else seemed to get their stickers first I got my strap like a month ago and still no stickers Thats ok I love the strap use it all the time. If you all don't give them all away are we going to be able to buy one hint hint.
Mine came while I was in Japan last week!!! It was a nice present to come home to. Very excited about it, wasn't expecting a stretchy strap for free Once I upgrade to a 40D, I plan to put it on my present Rebel which will become my backup camera / husbands toy at that point. (Only reason my present strap stays on my main camera is it has flash card holders that I can't live without)
WOO WHOO! Got my SmugMug Strap
Wasn't sure if I would get one but 'lo and behold it came!!!! :ivar I was surprised to see a lovely marriage between my Oly and my new SmugMug Strap. Love is definitely in the air! I think they make a very striking couple! And apparently my Oly only has eyes for SmugMug.
