By the way, does anyone know a good source of quick connects to hitch this up to a D700? I'd like to be able to quickly move between a hand strap and this one.

Camera Strap
I got the SmugMug camera strap a while back and was extremely pleased. Great gift for a smug user. Unfortunately after a few months one of the plastic buckles broke and I almost dropped the camera. Tied a knot in it and kept going. Loved the comfortable strap that much. A few months later the other buckle broke into little pieces. Bummer. Back to the Canon EOS strap that came with camera.
Am I that rough on straps? Just an old 20D with grip and flash and small lens.
Thanks anyway Smug. Love the service and have helped others sign up. Just a bit of feedback if you talk to your supplier for future.

The plastic buckle on the old strap is weak and breaks down under stress.
The new buckle seems more robust compared to the old one.
